About me
I’m a Senior React Native Engineer with 6+ years of experience architecting and shipping production mobile apps across iOS and Android at scale. Currently the sole mobile engineer at ONE Championship, a global combat sports platform with 1M+ downloads, where I independently own the full release lifecycle — 20+ production releases, a 4.7-star App Store rating, and a 99.95% crash-free session rate.
My focus is on performance-critical systems, gesture-driven animations, and end-to-end product ownership — from custom native bridges and DRM-protected adaptive streaming to internationalisation and CI/CD pipelines. I’ve shipped 20+ apps across the App Store and Play Store, and enjoy building polished, animation-forward interfaces that feel as good as they look.

Frequently asked questions
-
Are you available for freelance or contract React Native work?
Yes. I take on remote freelance and contract React Native engagements — short audits, sprint-based feature builds, native module work, performance optimisation, and end-to-end app launches. Drop a message via the contact form or book a free 15-minute intro call.
-
Do you work remotely with international clients?
Yes — I work remotely with clients across IST, UTC, and US timezones. I'm comfortable joining your existing standups, slack, and code reviews, and have shipped production apps with distributed teams across India, Singapore, the UK, and the US.
-
What kinds of React Native projects do you take on?
The most common engagements:
- Performance audits — list rendering, bundle size, crash rate, profiler-driven fixes (1–2 weeks).
- Animation & motion work — Reanimated 3, Gesture Handler, Skia (1–4 weeks).
- Custom native modules — iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) bridges, including video, DRM, and Cast (2–6 weeks).
- Architecture upgrades — state & data layer migrations, React Query, MMKV, TypeScript adoption (2–6 weeks).
- End-to-end app launches — zero-to-store as primary developer (3–6 months).
-
Have you shipped React Native apps to the App Store and Play Store?
20+ apps shipped to both stores. Highlights include the ONE Championship super app (1M+ downloads, 4.7★ App Store, 99.95% crash-free as the sole React Native engineer), Collegedunia iOS launch (1M+ downloads, 4.0★ across 12K+ reviews), and end-to-end zero-to-store launches like CarIndigo and Roar Sports. See the Portfolio section for live store links.
-
Can you build custom native iOS and Android modules?
Yes. At ONE Championship I built a custom React Native Brightcove player SDK from scratch — DRM-protected adaptive bitrate streaming, sender + Chromecast receiver, multi-stream multi-language broadcasting on iOS, Android, and Cast. I'm comfortable writing Swift / Kotlin bridges and shipping native code into a JS bundle for the team to consume cleanly.
-
Do you do React Native, Expo, or both?
Both. Most production work has been bare React Native with TypeScript, custom native bridges, and Fastlane / Bitrise / Azure pipelines. Expo (managed and bare workflow, EAS Build / Submit / Update) is a great fit for fast prototypes, MVPs, and teams that don't need custom native code.
-
How quickly can you start, and what's a typical engagement?
Short audits and well-scoped feature builds usually start within 1–2 weeks. Larger engagements depend on current commitments — get in touch with a brief and I'll come back with availability and a fixed-scope or weekly engagement option. I'm happy to sign mutual NDAs before sharing details.
